The 2,000-year-old Disco Colgante is an object that was produced for unknown reasons, or at least it seems so to us, modern humans. Was it an ancient tool, a high-tech device, ritual artifact or does it offer evidence of our ancestors’ vast knowledge of astronomy?

it could have been a cutting disc if the outer edge had been in tact.

If you flipped it over, it would look like our galaxy, this way it is reverse spiral.

The slots look to me as preventing the turning blade from clogging when cutting wet material. Like mud bricks for example. You can see something similar in modern stone/ ceramic cutting blades. Or it could be an alien artifact. Could go either way
