Codenamed Project Redsun, its aim was to successfully colonize the Red Planet. The first mission saw three astronauts taking the journey aboard a modified Saturn V left over from the discontinued Apollo Program.

I'm surprised, more ppl are not aware of these two fantastic missions. Actually the inventor of the Saturn V, also the head of NASA. Werner Von Braun, had written a non-fictional book back in the late 1940's outlining human colonization of Mars. Which was probably used as the blueprint for these trips. It just further goes to show, how much they've kept from us. All for why? For War, to keep military advantage from getting into the hands of "hypothetical" enemies. Even tho I may be getting off track. I say this because we are all still dealing with today. With these War mentalities, whether in Ukraine or Israel. They exist and impede our growth. There's so much more we'd like to know about these missions and more. My favorite shot is where one can see our blue marble with it's moon. Reminds me of the first time we got to see planet Earth. As seen from the moon, during the Apollo moon missions. Awesome!

Exopolitcs with Dr Michael Salla on Youtube has many stories from men who entered a program 20 and back of these men as kids were abducted by the military and put into programs to get them to Mars train them to be super soldier's to protect the many colonists living on Mars and in 20 years they go to a time displacement fecality and go back to them being a child from the spot they were abducted from. This all started when we went to Mars in the 70's.

Fascinating, the names of the astronauts sounded familiar when i viewed a video about a year ago about a secret Apollo mission to retrieve a crashed alien craft on the moon!? I could be wrong but the two names Rutledge and the Russian names could be the same two people. Correct me if I am wrong.
