Some call it the ‘Door to Hell’. At 12,262 meters the Kola Superdeep Borehole is the deepest artificial point on our planet. No one expected these discoveries.

The report from the book Etidorhpa takes place in Cincinnati, Ohio, in the 1860s regarding a student of science named Llewellyn Drury that had a visitation from a mysterious stranger. This strange being claimed to have formerly been a freemason who undertook a remarkable journey into the Earths crust and eventually into the interior itself, some 800 miles beneath the outer surface of the earth. Unfortunately his name was never revealed but he made a promise with Mr. Drury to write a manuscript in which the stranger was to read to him and publish 30 years later. Most cab drivers have their share of horror stories, especially those who work late-night shifts. Many of these involve robberies, or occasionally even encounters with strange freaks of nature that would cause even the most skeptical among us to consider whether life from other planets might exist right here among us. But for New York cabbie Mahmoud Seck, what initially appeared to be an attempt at robbery by a gun-wielding assailant ended up becoming far more terrifying. A Fox News Report detailed how the suspect, a Latin American man wearing a scarf and cap, was picked up by the driver at Lexington Ave. and 130th street in Manhattan, then taken to West 180 St. and Davidson Ave. in the Bronx. “Once there, he pulled out a gun and tried to rob the driver,” the report said. At this point, while the passenger attempted to rob him, Seck struggled with the man, who, rather than using the gun, suddenly began biting the cabbie on the neck in an act of aggression that has been described as something “that would make Bram Stoker blush.” The photograph taken by the dash camera in the taxi Seck had been driving, depicts a young man with glowing eyes and a sadistic-looking smirk; even vaguely reminiscent of serial killer Richard Ramirez. In his book Real Vampires, Night Stalkers and Creatures from the Darkside, author Brad Steiger makes the case that characters such as Ramirez, due to their apparent blood lust and habitual desire to inflict pain and suffering, are the modern counterparts to the folkloric vampires of days past. Here again, perhaps we’ve seen that the classic depiction of the vampire is indeed alive (or at least undead) and well, even a place as densely populated as present-day New York. Saw this while browsing the days news. This video was supposedly taken in 2006. I wonder how many more of the Giants have come out of “Hibernation” since then? The mainstream establishments our museums, universities and other ancient accumulating entities. They hold back information, knowledge artifacts and text that will shake up our reality. I hope one day we focus on them. They have tons of stuff not seen by man!

Following several delays due to technical issues, NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) and Orion spacecraft are now standing by at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida for the first step in sending humans back to the Moon five decades after the end of the Apollo program. Artemis I won't be carrying any passengers, but it will serve as a test run for future manned missions. As things stand, the launch is scheduled to take place on August 29th sometime during a two-hour window which begins at (08:33 EST (13:33 BST). While it won't be landing on the Moon, Artemis I will be going into orbit around it and will spend several weeks in space to make sure every part of the spacecraft is tested to the max. If everything goes to plan, the first crewed mission will launch in 2024. Then, in 2025, an actual attempt to land humans on the lunar surface will be made. Suffice to say, things are about to get very interesting. One branch of the American government implying that UFOs have non-human origins is an explosive development. According to Vice, members of the Senate Intelligence Committee believe (on a unanimous, bipartisan basis) that some UFOs have non-human origins. After all, why would Congress establish and task a powerful new office with investigating non-'man-made' UFOs if such objects did not exist? Despite Congress now asking the Pentagon to focus only on those objects that haven’t been designed by human hands we must ask ourselves whether it could be another distraction in an attempt to hide the truth about the existence of extraterrestrial UFOs and intelligent life beyond Earth. Avi Loeb, Ph. D., an astrophysicist and professor of science at Harvard University, joined Morning in America to discuss the possibility of life beyond Earth. Armenia is a country full of archeological surprises. It is a country where mysterious stories appear at every corner, and most of them still wait to be solved. However, one of the greatest stories of prehistoric Armenia relates to the Army Stones, a riddle hidden between a marvelous construction of megaliths. Zorats Karer is also known as Carahunge, Karahunj, Qarahunj. It is located in an area of around 7 hectares and covers the site nearby the Dar river canyon, close to the city of Sisan. The ancient site is often called the "Armenian Stonehenge," but the truth of what it is may be even more fascinating. According to researchers, Zorats Karer could be among the world's oldest astronomical observatories, and is at least 3,500 years older than British Stonehenge. Prehistoric Astronomy at Zorats Karer The site was rediscovered in 1984 by a team led by researcher Onik Khnkikyan. After a few months of work, Khnkikyan concluded that the site of Zorats Karer must have been an observatory. Moreover, with time, Armenian archeologists, astronomers and astrophysicists found that there were at least two other ancient sites important for prehistoric astronomy in the vicinity: Angeghakot and Metzamor. In 1994, Zorats Karer was extensively analyzed by Professor Paris Herouni, a member of the Armenian National Academy of Science and President of the Radio Physics Research Institute in Yerevan. His expeditions revealed a great deal of fascinating information about the site. First of all, his team counted 223 stones, of which 84 were found to have holes. They measured the longitude, latitude and the magnetic deviation of the site. The researchers also created a topographical map of the monumental megalithic construction, which became the basis of further work. Finally, the main treasure of the site was unearthed – a collection of many impressive and unique astronomical objects. The researchers realized that several stones were used to make observations of the sun, moon and stars. They were located according to knowledge about the rising, culmination moments, and setting of the sun, moon and specific stars. The stones are basalt, somewhat protected by moss but smoothed by the rain and wind and full of holes and erosion. Many of the stones were damaged over time. In ancient times, the stones were shaped and arranged in what are known as the north and south arms, the central circle, the north-eastern alley, the separate standing system of circles and the chord. The stones are between 0.5 and 3 meters tall and weigh up to 10 tons. Some of them are related to burial cists. The researchers are almost sure that the site had at least two meanings — ritual and scientific. According to the Armenian tradition, the name of the site comes from two words car (stone) and henge (sound). The Speaking Stones of Armenia Between the years 1994 and 2001, Zorats Karer was examined on several occasions by radio physicists. Even the famous archeo-astronomer Gerald Hawkings arrived to see the fascinating site. A team of German archeologists suggested that it is an impressive Middle Bronze Age necropolis or the remains of a Hellenistic city wall. These claims did not convince other researchers. Finally, a number of researchers concluded that the monument is at least 7,500-years-old, but possibly much more. It is believed to have been created for ritual reasons and the need to understand the movements of the sun, moon and stars. The people who created connected their beliefs with the early science of astronomy. It seems that the main functions of the observatory, which was also a temple, were to serve in the cult of the Sun god of early Armenians, to provide protection through cultivating the Armenian god of science, to serve as a school, and to function as an observatory. The methods used in the observatory were based on the laws of nature and changes of the Earth's axis precession. It seems that the observatory was in use for more or less 5,500 years. Searching for the stars Artifacts discovered on the site of Zorats Karer are now held in a small, local museum. Among them are stones with petroglyphs and grave goods from Bronze Age cist burials. The researchers believe that the site still contains many secrets. However, due to a lack of funds, excavation work cannot be continued as intensively as the archeologists would like. Many people continue to visit the site searching for answers related to astronomy. They bring telescopes, and choose the dates which are the best to observe planets, the moon, and stars. It seems that the site of the Zorast Karer remains to this day a perfect place to observe the sky. By Natalia Klimczak / |
