The new story from the UK's Daily Star is called "The Lost City Of Antarctica" within which we're told of a 'shock claim' being made that a massive civilization exists beneath the ice at the bottom of the world. The last of the Earth's continents to be 'officially' discovered back in 1820 according to Wikipedia, Antarctica has long been shrouded in great mystery. And as the Daily Star story asked after also exposing several mysterious 'pyramid-like structures' recently found on the icy continent, could all of this mean one of the world’s greatest mysteries is about to be unlocked?
The Antarctica stories linked on Steve Quayle's website over the past several years included a Yahoo News story from February of 2015 titled "Antarctica: Mystery Continent Holds Key To Mankind's Future" as well as a December 2015 story from the NY Times called "Countries Rush For Upper Hand In Antarctica". Were those stories simply 'fake news' from MSM outlets or were they more proof Antarctica indeed holds a position of great importance to the globalists and if so, what might that be?

UFO truth, from Roswell to Nazi involvement, to the NSA, is discussed with UFO researcher and author Richard Dolan. Sightings and officially documented experiences, military encounters with flying saucers, and the ongoing conspiracy to keep the phenomenon classified are shared, plus the connection between UFOs, the NSA and a long line of presidents are all disclosed with hot Sean Stone for Buzzsaw.
Richard Dolan is among the world's leading researchers and historians of the UFO subject. He is the author of two volumes of history, UFOs and the National Security State volumes one and two, as well as an analysis of the future, A.D. After Disclosure: When the Government Finally Reveals the Truth About Alien Contact. He is a regular guest on Coast-to-Coast AM radio, has also appeared on many television specials for The History Channel, SyFy, BBC, and elsewhere. Since 2012, Richard has hosted "The Richard Dolan Show," airing on KGRA Radio every Saturday evening, from 8-11 pm EST.
In his books, articles, and many interviews, Richard has analyzed the destruction of our political liberties as a result of the UFO cover-up, the possible nature of the non-humans themselves, what their presence means for our civilization, why he believes the cover-up will end within our lifetime, and what is likely to happen after that.

Since several decades German government officials claim, that there never was an official interest in investigating or studying the topic of unidentified flying objects (UFOs). But now, the editor of the German news-blog on frontier sciences and the paranormal "www.grenzwissenschaft-aktuell.de" (GreWi.de), Andreas Muller, was able to access formerly secret UFO-files compiled by the German foreign secret intelligence agency "Bundesnachrichtendienst" (BND), which tells now a complete different story.
It was in 2008 that the German Federal Minister of the Interior of that time, Dr. Wolfgang Schaeuble, repeated what other officials said several times before over the last decades, when they were asked about an official interest of German governments and the military's interest into the topic of UFOs and its investigation, by saying:
"… I have no knowledge of any official agency, institution or body that deals with or investigates sightings of unknown flying objects, so-called UFOs. Furthermore I have no knowledge of any such officials projects whatsoever."
The newly revealed UFO-files by the BND now contradict this official version with a whole file-set of 67 pages already titled with "UFO". The content of this files are "sightings of unidentified flying objects over the border zones between West Germany and the German Democratic Republic (GDR) and Chechoslovakia (CSSR)".
All 67 pages of the BND-UFO-Files. | Bundesarchiv.de (Photo: grenzwissenschaft-aktuell.de
The files can be found under the keyword "UFOs" within the German Federal Archives ("Bundesarchiv") based in the City of Koblenz. However, due to the fact that all documents that get released into these archives are automatically protected and embargoed for 30 years according to the German Federal Archive Law, this files are said to be protected and closed until the year 2021. However, you can ask for such files to get released before that date. And if somebody already went through this process successfully beforehand, such files will be open also for later applicants. Likely due to the fact that the whole file also includes non-UFO-related parts about the former border between West and East Germany, someone else already got permission to view this file, which is why now the whole file – including the extensive chapter on UFOs – was already open to be viewed for everybody. However, so far the crux of the matter was, that this fact is neither officially mentioned nor listed. Actually the files are still listed today as "closed until 2021" – and seemingly nobody took the trouble to ask for its current status. Until know…
The files that are listed under the identification code:
"B 206/1914 - Bestand B 206 des Bundesnachrichtendienstes" were obviously not created originally because the German foreign secret agency BND wanted to study unidentified flying objects because of an possible exotic or even extraterrestrial nature, but because of the fact that during the Cold War such sightings were thought to reveal possible enemy-activities or actions of espionage from the side of the Warsaw Pact states and Soviet troops stationed within the GDR and CSSR. While there are a few sightings which were reported by civilians, the majority of the listed cases were reported by members of the border patrol and frontier protection units.
And while indeed the majority of the contained and described cases can truly be easily explained by Soviet drones, and probe-balloons, because the described objects completely resembled such drones of that area, like the plane-like Soviet drone "Tupolev M-141", or conventional probe-balloons (like in many cases of official UFO-files from other countries) there is a small amount of cases that defy such explanations not only due to the exotic nature of the observed characteristics of the sighted objects, but also because even the official investigations had problems or completely failed to explain the sightings – at least as described and covered within this very files.
Close-Encounter above German Border Guard office and Navy station in the Baltic Sea
The most interesting case of the sightings of an exotic UFO by four officials happened in 1986 on Fehmarn, Germanys third biggest island in the Baltic Sea (which was a frontier island during that time when post-WW-2-Germany was still divided into West and East).
About this event the BND-UFO-Files reveal the following:
"In the early morning of 26.08.1986 (August 26, 1986), in the time between 03.00 and 03.30am, three public officers of the Border Guard office at Puttgarden, who were serving the night-shift, out of their office's window observed a flying object that travelled in slow speed towards the ferry-station at Puttgarden.
At the same time this flying object was observed by a Puttgarden customs officer too, from the so-called "car-park" of the ferry-station which was positioned about 300 meters (about 900ft) away (from the three border guards officers).
The Puttgarden-Case alone covers 5 pages with the BND-UFO-Files. | Bundesarchiv.de (Photo: grenzwissenschaft-aktuell.de)
After an extensive interview and questioning by the signer (of the report), the following circumstances were confirmed:
1) The unidentified flying object approached the ferry-station Puttgarden at the mentioned time in a comparative slow speed (in no way it was a conventional plane) coming from the West.
2) The object was flying at a height of about 50 - 60 m. (ca. 150-180ft.).
3) As it arrived (over) the ferry-station Puttgarden, it again reduced its speed even more and came to a nearly complete halt just above the mole-enclosures.
4) At this time of the observation, the border guard officers heard a sound that they described - in agreement with the customs officer - as a "comparative silently humming sound", that could possibly be compared with the sound of that of a turbine.
5) All officers were unable to give any description about size, shape and colour of the flying object. This was due top the following reasons:
1) The night was pitch dark.
2) The object emitted such a radial blinding illumination/light, that the above mentioned observations were impossible to make out. One officer even speculated that the this illumination could have been switched on with the intention to avoid an identification, as the used light was neither that of navigation lights nor flood lights, as no directed cones of light went downwards.
6) After the nearly halt of the object just in front of the ferry-station Puttgarden, the object continued its hovering flight in the same altitude eastwards passing above the Navy Coast station Marienleuchte on Fehmarn (ca. 600m/1800ft away).
7) Attempts of the signer to get more insights about the observations through other personnel and offices failed.
Inquiries were made to the Navy-Coast-Guard stations Westermarkelsdorf, Marienleuchte and Stabernuk (all on Fehmarn island), as well as with the flying squadron of the Border Guard command 'Coast' (Helicopters), the operating surveillance of the ferry-station Puttgarden, with the German ferryboats 'Deutschland' and 'Karl Carstens' and the Danish Police at Rodby."
Although the witness exclude the possibility that they had observed a plane and also excluded the option of an helicopter, the file later makes the assumption that there could be a connection to the alleged sighting of a Soviet helicopter above the West German City of Luebeck on the same morning (26.08.1986) but at 07.00am (so 4-3 hours later) that was reported by a local newspaper. Based on this assumption again further inquiries were made but again with negative result.
Assessment and Meaning of the BND-UFO-Files
Regardless how experts in the field of UFOs and military will finally value each case of UFO-sightings described within this newly discovered BND-files, its meaning and importance for a true understanding of the German government's interest into the topic of UFOs can't be valued high enough.
While the files itself are not secret or embargoed anymore because of the historical background and can be viewed by anyone at the Federal Archives in Koblenz, it is already the existence of such files in itself that makes out its value because – as said before - it totally contradicts the official position of German governments for several decades, that there is and never was any official interest, neither by the governments, its elements, ministries, bodies, institutions, military nor secret services, into the topic and study of unidentified flying objects.
Furthermore the existence of the BND-UFO-Files supports also an assessment by the politically independent Congressional Scientific Research Services (Wissenschaftliche Dienste) of the German Parliament (Bundestag) regarding the Position of the German government about UFOs and extraterrestrial visitors on Earth. This assessment concludes:
"The fact that both, the United Kingdom as well as France (and several other countries), have been engaged with the question about the existence of UFOs and extraterrestrial live forms and that they confirmed this interest by publishing their formerly secret files extensively even online, suggests that also German agencies and federal ministries are engaged with this problem and question."
(It might be interesting to the readers that this very assessment by the German Congressional Scientific Research Services is currently the topic of an ongoing lawsuit, in which the administration of the German Parliament is trying hard to keep the assessment from being released under the Germany freedom of information act.)
Indeed many facets of the above described BND-files reveal that such an interest at least once did exist (and likely still exist!), as the files demonstrate that there were procedures and mechanisms for reporting and investigating sighting-cases of unidentified flying objects by civilians as well and in special by officials and members of the military and border guards. One file for example is marked with the handwritten order to "please create a 'UFO-procedure'" while others clearly show that legal and administrative assistance was sought for further investigations into some of the described UFO-sightings, and this not only to other military units but also to the Ministry of the Interior itself – so to the very same Ministry that (like others) claimed for so many years to have neither knowledge nor any interest regarding UFOs.
On March 10, 1970, the impossible happened. Tucked away in a lab in Leningrad, a frog’s heart floated in a solution beating quite normally. The beating became faster, then slower; finally, it ceased to beat entirely. But this was no ordinary death, nor the result of some scientific experiment on the function of animal organs. It was a test of the mental power of a housewife by the name of Nina Kulagina.
Born Ninel Sergeyevna Kulagina on July 30, 1926 in Leningrad, Nina was very much an average, tough Russian woman. She was loyal to her country, joining the tank regiment of the Red Army during World War II when she was only 14. After the war, she married and became a housewife, living what anyone would describe as an average life until she began to test if the psychic abilities of her mother might have rubbed off on her.
It was during Nina’s private attempts at developing these psychic abilities that she seemingly unlocked something within her. The most well-known of these alleged abilities was psychokinesis (PK), or the moving of objects with the mind. Nina could move a wide variety of items including clock pendulums, crystal bowls, matches, cigarettes, compass needles, bread loaves, salt shakers, and many other small objects (often placed in Plexiglass boxes to show there were no strings attached). She first became aware of this ability when things would move whenever she would get angry. And aside from her famous stopping of a frog’s heart, Nina performed another fascinating feat: she separated an egg. That might not sound so amazing until you know that the egg was floating in a salt water tank two meters away from her. And she brought the yolk and white back together again when instructed to do so.
Nina Kulagina levitating what appears to be a ping-pong ball in the 1960s.
But Nina Kulagina’s special powers extended far beyond moving matches and killing frogs. She was said to possess healing powers, healing wounds with the application of her hand, and be able to diagnose illnesses merely by meeting people. She had the ability to make images appear on photographic paper, both outlines of images she was shown and the letters A and O. Her body could generate a strong electromagnetic field and even a strong amount of heat, causing burns to form on her clothing and—on one occasion—a red burn patch to appear on the arm of an observing journalist. While Nina was in a hospital recovering from a nervous breakdown in 1964, doctors observed that she could reach into her basket and pull out the correct color of yarn without even looking at it. (She claimed she was able to “see” the colors with her fingers.) She could even tell people what they carried in their pockets.
At the First Moscow International Conference of Parapsychology in 1968, footage of Nina seemingly moving objects with her mind was finally shown to the public. But with the scientific community catching wind of Nina’s astounding feats came the heavy hand of scrutiny. Skeptics including James Randi have long maintained that none of Nina’s apparent psychic abilities were anything more than common trickery and sleight of hand illusions. Just like Uri Gellar, Nina’s publicized experiments were never under ideal laboratory conditions. She was seen at home or in hotel rooms, without experts in trickery on hand. It’s been claimed that Nina had magnets implanted into her body to manipulate objects; other telekinetic claims could have employed the use of thin wires or mirrors. Yet in the USSR, laboratory experiments were performed on Nina (under the pseudonym Nelya Mikhailova) by several researchers, including Czech psychical researcher Dr. Zdenek Rejdak, psychologist B. Blazek, physicist V. F. Shvetz, Dr. J.S. Zvierev, physiologist L.L. Vasiliev, and the aforementioned Dr. Sergeyev. Dr. Rejdak published a report of his experiments (titled ‘Nina Kulagina’s Mind over Matter’) in the June 1971 issue of Psychic Magazine.
A still frame from one of 60 short films depicting Kulagina’s psychokinesis.
The Cold War had a little-known side, a “Psi Race” where both the US and the USSR tried hard to become superpowers with super powers. Telekinesis, remote viewing, automatic writing, and many other mind-over-matter experiments were carried out by both sides in an effort to turn the human mind into a powerful means of control and weaponry. Unfortunately, many of these experiments were complete failures.
It has been argued that Nina was shown off by the USSR in an effort to make it seem like they were making huge leaps in telekinesis when in fact it was all fakery. But even though the Cold War has long since ended, Russia has continued to keep many of its secrets under lock and key. If Nina was such a glowing success, where are the scientific reports? Might they still be housed somewhere in a storage room never to see the light of day? As is the case with so many things, just because we haven’t seen something doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
Near the end of her life, Nina seems to have lost the abilities she became so famous for. Her exertion in manifesting these powers was blamed for a near-fatal heart attack in the late 1970s. Sharp pain in her spine, dizziness, blood sugar irregularities, failing eyesight, and many other health concerns plagued her. With deteriorating health, Nina stepped away from the endless scientific testing, conducting very limited experiments in labs up until her death in 1990. And so, the full truth died with her. Whether or not she ever possessed remarkable abilities, perhaps faking it when her powers disappeared later in life, is a matter of speculation.
In recent years, information has surfaced on the Web about an alleged U.S. Government military project called “Project SERPO.”
We’ve all heard about reports of unusual and unconventional secret government projects. Some of them seem so far out that you wonder if they are real or an “urban legend” floating around.
Yet, many of us understand that people within our government and our military sometimes face unusual and strange phenomena in the course of their duties.
According to a mysterious source’s comments on a recently-developed Web site, Project SERPO was an effort developed between the late 1940s and the mid-1960s. It was a joint project between the U.S. Government and a race of friendly beings from a planet in the Zeta Reticuli star system.
The source claims that diplomatic relations were established between the U.S. Government and these beings after their spacecraft crashed in New Mexico in 1947.
Aw, give me a break, you may say. What have these people been smoking – medical cannabis or something?
We’ve heard and read about unconventional government projects before such as “remote viewing” intelligence-gathering methods, time-travel physics research, psychological studies on “magic mushrooms,” unusual non-lethal weapons and similar efforts. But relations with visitors from another planet?
That’s not all. Information on SERPO describes a project that selected and trained a joint-service U.S. military team to board a spacecraft of these visitors and go to their home planet for a planned ten-year stay. And, that in the mid-60s, this was successfully accomplished. Most of the team members returned and were debriefed.
Remember the movie “Close Encounters of the Third Kind?” Remember when the government teams set up a landing zone for the “visitors” and how Army Special Forces personnel assisted with covert logistics? Remember how 12 people in red jumpsuits were transported to the LZ for boarding? The entries on serpo.org allege that this is based on fact.
In addition, the information posted there and elsewhere indicates that the government has been struggling since the 1940s to figure out how to break this kind of information to the general public without creating anxiety and negative disruption. According to the information, various efforts have been underway over the decades to gradually prepare us for this reality.
Well, do you buy it? It would make a good novel or movie, that’s for sure. Is it possibly true or is it just someone’s imagination and a bunch of warmed-over stories from movies, writings and UFO lore?
Undoubtedly, it would add more complexity to our view of things. Not only do we have trouble getting along with other countries and other people who are different, now we would really need to be tolerant and open-minded. And, are there other kinds of "visitors" who are not quite so friendly, or even dangerous in some way?
This could explain why our government officials might have thought it wise to keep information like this from the general public.
According to information on the serpo.org site, there are responsible people in and out of government who may now believe that the time is right for more gradual disclosure of information about this situation. These people, people with compassion and vision, could feel that we might now be ready to obtain some understanding of the situation and react responsibly and with intelligence.
Of course, it could all be bunk. There may be no truth to it at all. Probably not. Right?
The rover successfully landed on Mars was received on 18 February 2021, at 20:55 UTC. As of 26 June 2022, Perseverance has been active on Mars for 480 sols (493 Earth days, or 1 year, 4 months and 8 days) since its landing.
On June 26, 2022 the rover took this amazing photo.
I don't know what you guys think it is, but to me it's a snakeskin.
I would really like to know your opinion, please follow the NASA link below and draw your own conclusions.
On December 17, the Farsight Institute released the results of multiple remote viewing sessions investigating the alleged existence of an “Ashtar Command” and whether it had a floating base hidden in the clouds of Jupiter.
The results of the remote viewing sessions, conducted using blind scientific protocols, support the claims of several recent ‘contactees’ that the Ashtar Command existed, and that its Jupiter facility was used as a meeting place for secret agreements reached between 14 spacefaring nations and several extraterrestrial organizations in July 2021.
Drawing by Elena Danaan of her being inside the Ashtar Command Base. We Will Never Let You Down (2021) p.40.
Dr. Courtney Brown, the founder of the Farsight Institute, released a press and video statement introducing the goals of the remote viewing sessions, and the targets being investigated. He explained why he chose the target for Part 1 of the project:
In conclusion, remote viewing is an important intelligence-gathering tool on extraterrestrial affairs and exopolitics. However, it should be conducted using blind scientific protocols to get the best results; otherwise, frontloading can significantly reduce its effectiveness. In this regard, I support the work of Dr. Brown and other professional remote viewers in encouraging the use of more scientific protocols in their remote viewing projects.
Russell Targ is a physicist and author, a pioneer in the development of the laser and laser applications, and a cofounder of the Stanford Research Institute (SRI) investigation of psychic abilities in the 1970s and 1980s.
SRI is a research and development think tank in Menlo Park, California. Called remote viewing, his work in the psychic area has been published in Nature, The Proceedings of the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE), and the Proceedings of the American Association the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
Targ has a bachelor’s degree in physics from Queens College and did his graduate work in physics at Columbia University.
He has received two National Aeronautics and Space- Administration awards for inventions and contributions to lasers and laser communications.
In 1983 and 1984 he accepted invitations to present remote-viewing demonstrations and to address the USSR Academy of Science on this research.
He is author or co-author of nine books dealing with the scientific investigation of psychic abilities and Buddhist approaches to the transformation of consciousness, including Mind Reach: Scientists Look at Psychic Ability (with E. Harold Puthoff, 1977, 2005); Miracles of Mind: Exploring Nonlocal Consciousness and Spiritual Healing (with Jane Katra, 1998); and Limitless Mind: A Guide to Remote Viewing and Transformation of Consciousness (2004).
He also wrote an autobiography, Do You See What I See: Memoirs of a Blind Biker, in 2008. His current book is The Reality of ESP: A Physicist’s Proof of Psychic Abilities.
As a senior staff scientist at Lockheed Missiles and Space Company, Targ developed airborne laser systems for the detection of windshear and air turbulence.
Having retired in 1997, he now writes books on psychic research and teaches remote viewing worldwide.
Below is a planned talk by RusseLl for TED that was cancelled by TED. Not surprisingly, some of the most interesting TED talks have been cancelled, author Graham Hancock’s “The War on Consciousness” was banned, and so was scientist Rupert Sheldrake’s, titled “The Science Delusion.”
When it comes to topics within the realms of parapsychology, like ESP, they often fiercely oppose the belief systems of many, despite the fact that publications in peer-reviewed scientific literature have examined this topic for more than a century, with some fascinating results.
Obviously there is something to this, otherwise the CIA and other agencies around the world would not devote decades of research to studying this topic in depth.
For more information on/from Russell Targ, please check out his website here. Enjoy! Interesting stuff to say the least.
This is one of the most amazing and perplexing discoveries in history. If you thought all of the questions surrounding the Baltic anomaly would be answered by the return trip, then you’d be wrong. The OceanX team have discovered right angles, walls with absolutely smooth surfaces and cavities-like corridors inside the object as well as something resembling a staircase – the weird just got weirder.
“When we went out and saw the walls which were straight and smooth, it was frightening, as in a science-fiction film” – Dennis Åsberg – Ocean Explorer Co-Founder
From the different reports and interviews given we have amassed the following details of the anomaly.
Now it seems that as more and more information is revealed, the mystery surrounding the object grows. The good news for everyone who is intrigued by this story is that a THIRD expedition by the team will set off in approximately two weeks – the OceanX team will be hoping to rule out some of the possible explanations and collect even more data to shed light on this most perplexing mystery.
“A new expedition will take place in approx three weeks.” – Peter Lindberg, co-founder OceanX Team (approx 2 weeks now at time of publishing)
Right angles, smooth surfaces and cavitiy-like corridors inside the object
In a recent Swedish radio interview, Aasberg described some amazing features which seem to indicate that the object is man made, or perhaps a natural formation that has been altered or engineered. In various radio and TV interviews the team have described the surfaces of the dome to be similar to concrete both in texture and appearance. The massive pillar on which the dome rests may be made of a different material indicating that the entire anomaly may not be one complete piece but rather two separate objects with the dome resting on top of the main pillar, and if so, who or what placed the dome on top? Also, when we say pillar – this is a pillar that is approx 180-190 feet thick.
“We arrived there twice, and the question mark has become so much bigger now, “says Dennis Åsberg. The area is a completely circular plate with 180 metres in circumference, and therefore believed that it was the first traces of a meteor.”
“But there are 1,500-metre track in bed until the subject matter-and they have also discovered right angles, walls with absolutely smooth surfaces and cavities-like corridors inside the object.– When we went out and saw the walls which were straight and smooth, it was frightening, as in a science-fiction film, “says Dennis Åsberg on Ocean x-team as soon exploring the unknown object again.“
Stone Circles or “Fireplaces”
During the dive, the team swam slowly over the top of the object looking down where they encountered the first of many strange sights. Stone circles, like “fireplaces”, of hard black “almost petrified” burnt looking stone each a few inches in diameter, like 4 or 5 pearls in a necklace in various arrangements on top of the dome some 12 metres high off the seabed. The stones appear to be arranged in definite circular shapes, so there is no possibility of this being done through any natural process of weathering or even glaciation.
Stefan Hogeborn, 47, is a veteran of 6000 dives spanning his 20 year career and is one of the expert divers who was completely mesmerized by what he saw. “Normally stones don’t burn,” Hogeborn said. “I can’t explain what we saw, and I went down there to answer questions, but I came up with even more questions,” he added.
Also visible and shown in some of the released video footage is a strange hole (pictured below) in the top of the object. The hole is described to be approx 25 cm in diameter. Where it leads to or exactly what it’s purpose is is yet unknown. It is thought that this feature will be investigated further when the team return to the site again in 2 weeks time.
The Trail or Path Leading To The Object
In the initial sonar imagery there appeared to be what looked 1000+ metres of what looked like like skid marks or a disturbed seafloor area leading to the object. According to the dive team what it now looks like to them is what can only be described as a “runway” or “downhill path” that is flattened at the seabed with the object at the end of it. Co-Founder Peter Lindberg describes this feature of the site as a ridge raising slowly up from the bottom to a height of approx 8 meters above the surrounding bottom. He also believes that this ridge is made of softer material than the pillar and the dome.
The second anomaly
Some 200 metres away lies the second strange anomaly which is amazingly yet to be explored! The initial sidescan sonar images show something described by the team as shaped like a “gothic church window”. Similar to the main anomaly this object also has an area leading up to it of disturbed seafloor or what could be a ridge. The divers were so amazed by the main anomaly that they simply didn’t have time to dive on the second one. The return trip in two weeks time should present an opportunity for this to finally be explored.
There is the real possibility that the second anomaly may help give clues to the origin and nature of the main object.
The Remote Viewers Were Correct
Several weeks before the second expedition several set off, several remote viewers described the anomaly in “blind” sessions where all they were given was a target reference number. The preliminary findings of the OceanX expedition have confirmed some remarkable similarities and details which were amazingly predicted by the remote viewers.
One of the remote viewers described the anomaly as the same feeling as “very large” , “light grey”, “looks like cement colour”, “like a dam – but it’s not a dam, but it reminds me of a dam, just that it’s so big, massive and huge, going down whenever you stood and you look down on it, on a dam and I can see how it just moves down away from me”.
Another viewer described it as round, semi-buried, thick, from above to below ground, AOL “like a weapons bunker or missile silo tube, something like that, way thicker than it ought to be or you would expect,”
“It just so straight up and down inside ,the Millennium Falcon from the Empire Strikes Back”.
Lindberg too was impressed with the quality of the data predicted by the remote viewers - “Regarding the “remote viewing”: Yes, the last guy gives quite a spooky resembling explanation. Maybe he’s right if we find any more holes” – he said.
“3D Multibeam sonar data take a while to process. It will not be until end of next week we will be able to see the first 3D images from the area. I have seen the raw data though and if what I have seen will be confirmed by the finished result we will get some quite amazing facts to think about.”
“More pictures will come, no more diver taken pictures though, not before until next expedition. The production company is right now working with the ROV films and still pictures from them will be released. Before the expedition” – “It is up to the production company, who makes the documentary, which pictures will be released.”
Initially when the first images were released by Swedish media the image below caused a lot of confusion for many people, with many thinking the image showed the complete anomaly.
However, after the confusion cleared it became obvious that the image below was of something now nicknamed “The Meringue”. The meringue as it is now known is a circular 4 meter wide feature that actually sits on top of the main 200 foot wide mushroom-like dome. What looks like the seabed towards the bottom of the feature is in fact the TOP of the mushroom dome. The seabed is another 40 feet further down!
Resolution of the object
Lindberg was asked, “What kind of resolution/accuracy can be expect of the ROV?(Remotely Operated Vehicle)“, he said – “Bad resolution, we have been sponsored by Ocean Modules with an “older” model of the V8 Sii ROV. It should not be able to send both video and the “real time sonar” images at the same time through a 450 meter cable (which we had) but it worked, though on the expense of the quality of the video. On the next expedition they will provide us with a newer model and then we will probably get much better quality on the video.”
He continued – “They do not know about all we have seen with the ROV. It take some time to tape everything over to a format with which they can use, and people have their working hours. I think though that they must be like 10 persons working with this now.”
In a recent Facebook Q&A the loose stones that make up the “fireplaces” sitting on top of the dome were discussed with co-founder Peter Lindberg – “So have any scientists results been brought back from the samples yet Peter?” – “We have recovered two loose stones laying on the circle. They are doing lab tests on the stones right now. But I think we will find that they are made of quite common minerals. I believe that since there is loose stones laying on the circle the circle must be from pre-ice age. The ice has dropped the stones when it melted away.”
“I do not know but if I must bet my money on something I would go for the possibility that the circle is of pre-ice age – age.”
Unexplained Equipment Failure
A curious phenomena that has been experienced by the dive team is one of constant electrical equipment failure when they are in close proximity to the anomaly and could be related to a magnetic disturbance in the area.
“Why isn’t anything working, anything electric out there and the satellite phone as well stopped working when we were above the object and then we got away about 200 meters and it turned on again and when we got back over the object it didn’t work so that’s kind of strange as well.” - Stefan Hogeborn
“The divers said that a “blackish” powder had been attracted to the camera, I did not see it myself though. Another thing is that we could not use the satellite phone when we where laying above the circle, but just some tenth of meters off position the phone worked. I do not know why but it is a fact. Furthermore, the video camera’s lights blow when the diver started them up on the surface when testing them before dive # 2. They decided anyway to bring the video camera with them and try to use their ordinary lights to illuminate for the video. When they descended the video camera started to showing an “error” message on the small monitor”. – Peter Lindberg
“The diver restarted the camera several times and finally it seamed to work. So he filmed their dive but nothing was on the tape when watching it afterwards. The only problem we had with the ROV was that we constantly had to restart the sonar. Finally it did not work and we continued with just the video camera. When we left the circle we went to a wreck and spent like 35 hour of ROV flying on the wreck and the sonar worked all the time. Magnetic disturbances, well you tell me!”
“Someone asked about what temperature we had down there. Well the divers thermometer showed -1 degree Celsius when they were on top of the circle, it should be +4 degree Celsius. The thermometer may have showing a wrong value of course.”
“We looked at our dive computer, the deep sea diver computer, and it said minus one degree that’s pretty cold for a diver it should really be impossible to have that cold water it actually turns into ice at zero degrees but that could be explained by the movement of the water.” – Stefan Hogeborn, Professional Diver
“I can not reveal the truth before I have all the facts. Till then everything is pure speculations, even from my side. I have not thought about if it can be hollowed, I have not even penetrated the surface yet…”
“We still have some months before it is too late going out to the site. But as it looks like now it will be last expedition for us. I think a real scientific team should take over and make a real scientific expedition to the area. After all, we are just wreck hunters who’s trying to find out what we a have discovered.”
Can it be brought to the surface?
When asked if there was the possibility of bringing the object to the surface, Lindberg was quick to respond with an emphatic – “God no! It must weight tremendous much, like thousands of tons”
The Straight Lines / Grooves
The original sonar images show large and unbelievably straight grooves or lines in the structure. When someone on the Facebook group speculated that the grooves were a few tens of centimetres, Lindberg wasted no time in correcing them – “No the graves are more like 1-1,5 meter wide and 0,5-1,5 meters deep.” Later he said – “The lines can be made by natural causes, but they looks very “man made”.
Peter Lindberg shares his thoughts
A few days ago co-founder of the OceanX Team Peter Lindberg popped into the OceanX Facbook page for an impromptu question and answer session which was utterly fascinating.
Hello friends, I have not written anything here in a while, can maybe be explained by the fact that I have really been out there… I will drop you some of my believes:
1. I do not believe that the circle is a wreckage of an flying craft from WWII till recent time (or from some thousands of year back for that matter).
2. I do not believe the circle is a wreckage of any kind of known floating vessels from the past or from modern time.
3. I do not believe the circle is a construction made by someone after the ice age (submarine bases etc included).
4. I do believe the surface of the circle is made of mineral.
5. I do believe that the surface looks like concrete through the ROV camera but I do not believe it’s made of concrete.
6. I do believe that the very strait lines and angular formations we can see on the side scan sonar image from last year really excists. The odd thing is that I thought, before this expedition that when we could get close these shapes maybe should appear not being so straight as on the side scan sonar image, in reality they are even straighter! It really looks like constructed parts on the circle.
7. I do believe it might have been volcanic activity in the area and even on (or in) the circle after the ice age, or before, but then it do not fit with what we know about the ice age.
8. I do believe that the circle “rests” on top of what looks like an pilar of rock, raising approx 8 meters above the surrounding bottom. The circle it self appears to be approx 4 meters thick. In other words, the top of the circle raises 12 meters above the surrounding bottom.
9. I do believe we must find out on the next expedition if the circle and the pillar are fixed in one piece or if they are separated in some way.
10. I do believe that the path, or the track, is a ridge raising slowly up from the bottom to a height of approx 8 meters above the surrounding bottom. I also believe that the ridge is made of softer material than the pillar and the circle.
“What I do not believe because I know, is the fact that we found a round hole approx 25 cm in diameter going straight into the surface of the circle, how odd is not that? How deep? No idea, we just saw it for some seconds before we decided to back off to preserve the visibility for the divers that was going down later on. They did not find the hole though. It might be some more holes, at this moment we do not know.” – Well some comments on that before I continue with some more believes. Cheers.
