From The Black Vault The Black Vault sought records over the course of three years, and followed a paper trail that led to the below release of formerly SECRET e-mails. Although redacted, there are some new details revealed, and the likelihood that the encounter, along with the WSO, were all connected to the 2015 “Gimbal” encounter. The documents are below. In December of 2017, the "Gimbal" video was published by the NY Times. Since then, it has captivated believers and has become a target by the debunkers. Yet, despite the drastic difference in regards to interpretations by both sides, one fact remains: the video is intriguing. Now, new documents released to The Black Vault may reveal that the Weapons Systems Officer (WSO) who encounter the craft, and took the video, appeared before Senate staffers in 2019 to brief them on the event. The below records were released to numerous requesters, including being responsive to numerous cases filed by The Black Vault going back to the beginning of 2018. Also according to Dr. Davis, these papers that were submitted were about various topics, including (but not limited to) warp drives, propulsion systems, etc. Within 48 hours of that interview, on January 31, 2018, The Black Vault had filed for ALL of those reports, as referenced by Dr. Davis. This was given FOIA case FOIA-0159-2018. In January of 2019, The Black Vault received a listing breakdown of the reports (an slightly different version had already leaked) via FOIA request FOIA-0033-2019 with the DIA. On March 25, 2022, the DIA finally completed FOIA request FOIA-0159-2018, and released 37 of the requested 38 DIRD reports. The Black Vault has appealed the one report seemingly ignored, which was the classified version of the “State of the Art and Evolution of High-Energy Laser Weapons” report, classified SECRET. This was not even referenced as being withheld in the release document, so the basis of the appeal is on the adequacy of their search. Here is a listing of the 37 DIRD reports released. For another, more extensive breakdown, you can see the The Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) DIRD Report Research page, as well. Note: The following are in numerical order of the DIA release via this FOIA request, not the original list. Download a .ZIP file of ALL 37 DIRD reports below [87MB]
