In 1960 in London at the time of clearing the site for construction of a new residential neighborhood, the old long-abandoned mansion belonged to Thomas Theodore Merlin was sent for demolition. In the basement of the home builders have discovered several thousand small wooden boxes tightly sealed. Imagine their surprise when they began to find inside the bodies of strange mythical creatures, which seemed to have been living only in fairy tales.

I liked what it showed but where are the bodies now that it's 2016. That's 56 years have passed. Are they in a privet collection or for the public to see? I would like to know where they are and can you see them for real.

I agree with it though I am 12. It is rather astonishing and I would like to know more about it. I think if our culture these days knew more of this they would not have Halloween or things like that. The public should be notified of this immediately.

I'm more interested in if the books said anything about where these specimens came from.

Yes' this is all "real" and you can find part of the collection At the "MERRYLIN CRYPTID MUSEUM" The collection was so massive that they are not showing everything as you know government hides most if not all things. I am amazed that even this much was able to get out to the public

Has anyone performed test to see if they are real tissue and bone? If so, do they know if they were put together to look like mythical creatures?

'Snopes' is one of the original organisations created by the powers that be to discredit anything that may lead us, humanity, to question our history. As such, I would rather research and investigate further and use my own discernement in these issues.

Yes there was an episode on history channel where they sent particulates to be tested from the fairy's and they came back positive for DNA but inconclusive as to what because it was niether human or of any animal found on earth so far. so I am a believer I'm also at a loss for words because these things would change everything we ever knew of this world... When fiction becomes fact ....

I agree with Sandra how do we know that they weren't just put together. Don't get me wrong the things that were shown were cool.

If this is true, it is right out of mythical history. How and where did he go to get these things? I hope they are tested and validated so that we can go on, and maybe find out more of our true history, instead of this hogwash that I had to put up with all my life.

i think this is beautiful art but i doubt the authenticity, too bad, But Steven Greer in Project disclosure is showing a similar creature that has been analyzed, and is not from this world.

I think, at the time, people would pay to see things in a museum. Wouldn't it be possible to be a traveling museum and the storage was there?

Yes people would pay to see it. They go to Ripleys Believe It Or Not. But with authentication it would be more than a side show it would be unbelievable history! And that would be priceless.

Treatments for mental illness are not as often cruel as they once were. Although plenty of the medications used may leave you debilitated, much like having someone drill into your brain. Regardless, I implore you to seek a psychiatrist (they can prescribe medication if they feel it will be helpful, or is needed) rather than a psychologist. They may be able to help you sort out what is fantasy, and what is reality. I had a patient who we needed to restrict from literature involving greek mythology, because he became so absorbed into the stories and his delusions that it lead to a dangerous psychosis. He nearly harmed someone, and had no idea what he was doing in reality. You may need to detach yourself from christian mythology and seek psychiatric help. Christians who become too engrossed in their stories have proven to be very dangerous on occasion. Not just for your own well being, but the well being of your fellow man, I implore you to seek help while you are still sound enough to consider this request. Good day sir, and may fortune favor the bold.

In all likelihood these are constructs intended for use in a private gallery, such as P. T. Barnum's "Barnum's American Museum," which were of some popularity in the early 19th century. The most famous of these, the "FeeJee Mermaid" was a work of creative taxidermy, while others were cleverly crafted models. A trained eye can detect many contradictions in some of these, from the dragon's leathery wings on an otherwise fleshless skeleton, to the immobile 'jaws' of the succubus skull.

It be sad so many adamites stopped believing. Our return to surface of earth is nigh in coming. Sons and daughters of Infernal Majesty shall rise to take what belongs to us. Then those who believe not shall be eaten. Thou seeing adamites will be destroyed first. It was seeing adamite the seventh who spake words of sealing and sealed us. Vengeance us ours.

As cool as these things looked, everything about them screams Feejee Mermaid. I also find it hard to believe that if these were found in 1960 in London, that there would not already be several books about them plus photo books of every piece found. It would have been big news. Lets not leave out newspapers, magazines and TV reports too. Interesting, but fake.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING OF MYTHS. everything existed but it's learned as stories and tales. All kinds of things walked and walks the earth whether you see it or not. Reality!
