The Daily Mail reports that the machine is being developed to help sufferers of Lou Gehrig’s disease, Alzheimer’s, stroke, and dementia. The L.A. Times, though, is unabashedly claiming that the machine is being produced for the purposes of investigations involving facial reconstruction. Whatever the case, the agreed upon goal is to communicate a person’s private thoughts via a video screen, electronic speaker, or word processor. Rest assured; this is only the beginning of the end of the Fifth Amendment, which outlines our right to remain silent. If you think this sounds like science fiction, or the plot of Minority Report, you should know that there are already devices in use that can read your facial expressions or emotions in order to prevent car accidents and road rage. Moreover, Fox News reported way back in 2008 that Homeland Security would attempt to detect terrorist activity by monitoring the intent of American citizens. In short, we might soon be incriminating ourselves without even trying, and it will be seen as acceptable under the guise of freedom, justice, safety, and medicine. More than 60 years ago, excavations at the Qumran Caves revealed almost one thousand ancient scrolls that offered important glimpses into humanity’s past. Archaeologists were stumped to find one unusual text among these, a scroll that offers clues regarding the demise of the Nephilim. It is called The Book of Giants. The Bible makes several references to the Nephilim and most of them can be found in the book of Genesis. The bulk of information pertaining to these giants of old come from the apocryphal Book of Enoch. This ancient Jewish religious work is attributed to Noah’s great-grandfather, although some scholars date parts of it to around 300 BC. Enoch is a puzzling character, to say the least. The book of Genesis tells us he lived on Earth for 365 years, before being taken by God; “he walked with God: and he was no more; for God took him.” During his time down here, our planet was also inhabited by ‘angels’ who interacted freely with humans, eventually interbreeding with the “daughters of man” and giving birth to a race of unnaturally strong and giant hybrids called the Nephilim. The origin of the word “Nephilim”isn’t fully understood but scholars have proposed several etymologies: “the fallen”, “apostates”, or “those that cause others to fall down.” Regardless of their name, the Nephilim have always been a synonym for giants. The Book of Giants found in the Qumran Caves offer a perspective that is different from that of the Book of Enoch. Although incomplete, the scroll fragments paint a grim picture: the Nephilim become aware that, as a result of their violent and deviant ways, they face imminent destruction—and that scares them enough to ask Enoch to speak on their behalf in front of God. The text begins by detailing how the Nephilim plagued the Earth and all that lived on it. But once they all start receiving prophetic dreams of doom, fear seeps into their hearts. The first one to have these dreams was Mahway, the titan son of the angel Barakel. In his dream, he saw a tablet being submerged in water. When the tabled emerges, all but three names have been washed away. This symbolizes the Flood and subsequent destruction of all but Noah’s sons. At the time, this fact had not become obvious to the Nephilim so they debated the meaning of Mahway’s dream, but were unsuccessful in interpreting the signs. Soon after, two more giants, Ohya and Hahya, the sons of the fallen angel Shemyaza, begin having similar dreams; they dreamed of a tree being uprooted except for three of its roots. Following this, the rest of the group of giants began having apocalyptic dreams: Thereupon two of them had dreams and the sleep of their eye fled from them, and they arose and came to […and told] their dreams, and said in the assembly of [their comrades] the monsters […In] my dream I was watching this very night [and there was a garden…] gardeners and they were watering […two hundred trees and] large shoots came out of their root […] all the water, and the fire burned all [the garden…] They found the giants to tell them the dream…” The giants now realize the prophetic nature of their dreams and seek help from Enoch. Unfortunately, Enoch had already disappeared from the face of the Earth so the Nephilim elected one of their members to undertake a cosmic journey in order to find him. [Mahway] mounted up in the air like strong winds, and flew with his hands like eagles […he left behind] the inhabited world and passed over Desolation, the great desert […]and Enoch saw him and hailed him, and Mahway said to him […] hither and thither a second time to Mahway […]The giants await your words, and all the monsters of the earth. If […]has been carried […] from the days of […]their […] and they would be added […] we would know from you their meaning […] two hundred trees that from heaven came down…” Unfortunately, parts of the scrolls were damaged beyond repair but the general direction of the text is obvious. One of the Nephilim traveled outside of Earth in search of Enoch and his vision interpreting powers. The text becomes very interesting if we substitute a few terms and regard it not as an allegorical account, but the description of a real event whose meaning became muddled over time. If we consider flying “with his hands like eagles” a metaphor, can we hypothesize that Mahway took off from Earth in a space ship? In this case, does “Desolation, the great desert” refer to interstellar space? It depends on how far we’re willing to interpret a fragmentary, 2,000 year-old scroll but ancient alien theorists do more than just take it at face value. Enoch sends Mahway back where he came from, promising him he will speak to God on their behalf. Unfortunately for the Nephilim, the tablets Enoch sent them as a response did not bring good news: The scribe Enoch […] a copy of the second tablet that [Enoch] sent in the very hand of Enoch the noted scribe […In the name of God the great] and holy one, to Shemyaza and all [his companions…] Let it be known to you that not […] and the things you have done, and that your wives […] they and their sons and the wives of [their sons] by your licentiousness on the earth, and there has been upon you […and the land is crying out] and complaining about you and the deeds of your children […] the harm that you have done to it. […] Until Raphael arrives, behold, destruction [is coming, a great flood, and it will destroy all living things] and whatever is in the deserts and the seas. And the meaning of the matter […] upon you for evil. But now, loosen the bonds bi[nding you to evil…] and pray.” Whether they prayed or not, the text cannot say. But they don’t appear to be here anymore, once again proving the effectiveness of a global flood. Below is a trailer of "Attach on Titan". The return of the Nephelims to Earth. The moment a man takes his drone for a flight is market by a brisk event that almost ended up tragically…for his drone and budget. Concentrating on filming the nearby heavy storm clouds, Skwty Photography of YouTube accidentally surprises the very moment when a speeding UFO dashes next to his flying device, nearly impacting it. The sighting is spectacular for various reasons:
The story behind a well known Illinois UFO case from early January 2000 involving witnesses from multiple police departments may be rewritten as one new witness came forward July 16, 2012, to offer additional testimony from a vantage point in southern Missouri, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database. The witness was an assistant fire chief at the time who watched the case being played out on a network television reenactment and called the UFO Examiner to disclose case details that had never before been revealed publicly. After speaking with the witness, both Missouri and Illinois MUFON were immediately contacted to begin an investigation. The witness officially filed a MUFON report with Assistant Missouri State Director Margie Kay today. Kay provided details in MUFON Case 40861.
Credit image: Thomas Ashcraft – Mr. Ashcraft photographed the EMP ring using a low-light camera. ELVEs appear when a pulse of electromagnetic radiation from lightning propagates up toward space and hits the base of Earth's ionosphere. A faint ring of light marks the broad 'spot' where the EMP hits. EMP is on the increase. With the appearance of the EMP ring over Colorado we may wonder whether the strange and unexplained circular weather anomalies which appeared on several weather radar stations last month in Europe are the result of natural or man-made EMPs too. EMP interference not only causing blackouts or blowing up transformers but at higher energy levels a powerful EMP event such as a lightning strike, like the apocalyptic lightning that struck several countries in Europe, mainly in France, Germany and Poland on May 28, 2016, can damage physical objects such as buildings and aircraft structures. Even EMPs create magnetic swirls and neon “noctilucent” clouds in the skies. Several days after the EMP ring appeared over Colorado, on June 13th sky watchers in more than half a dozen European countries witnessed and reported an outburst of bright noctilucent clouds (NLCs). Credit image noticulent cloud: Ruslan Merzlyakov - Nykøbing Mors, Denmark. Years ago you had to travel to latitudes well above 50 degrees to see these neon clouds. Now, however, NLCs are spreading. In recent years they have been sighted as far south as Colorado and Utah in the United States. With the increase in EMPs and noticulent clouds, the appearance of magnetic swirls and strange weather anomalies captured by weather radar stations, we may wonder whether, despite researchers suspect this is a side-effect of climate change, if something in outer space is the real cause of all these events here on Earth.
The above image shows a formation of three golden shining UFOs flying above Kirk Lake, Mahopac, NY. The witness who lives on Kirk Lake, Mahopac took a photograph of the Lake on June 12, 2016, afterwards while checking the image she saw three strange flying objects in the photograph. Despite two UFOs in the background are not recognizable, the third UFO in the foreground is very recognizable in the image and although the object is “Motion Blur” it’s clearly a flying disk. Motion blur is the apparent streaking of rapidly moving objects in a still image. It results when the image being recorded changes during the recording of a single exposure, either due to rapid movement. Given the fact that the UFOs were not visible to the naked eye, they must have moved at tremendous speed. The question is whether these strange objects are man-made or not! Mufon case 77033. In an astonishing announcement that has thrown the anthropology community into great debate, a group of archaeologists from Brigham Young and Southern Methodist University have discovered what appears to be an ancient petroglyph at the bottom of Scotts Flat Lake just outside of Nevada City, California. The announcement, which was made earlier this week, was a part of a 4-month underwater study that even surprised the team leaders. “You have to understand the kind of environment that we’ve been operating in,” said lead SMUanthropologist and group representative Henry “Hank” Starnes, PhD on the archaeological team. Our funding dried up a couple of months ago, so we’ve been relying on graduate students to find artifact for us. Well, one particularly bright student Aethan Caramon used Google Earth to find this amazing discovery. We’ve made 3 dives now, and can no confirm there is something down there.” The joint university team were called upon the deep diving mission after their successful Biblical “dig” in Nevada City, CA. Because of their successes in excavating what they believe is Noah’s Ark in the quaint former Gold Rush town in the Sierra Nevada foothills, they were assigned this task of finding petroglyphs around North America. This discovery, which has startled researchers who specialize in such things, is said to be the largest known underwater petroglyph in the world, if it turns out to be true. “It’s over 100 meters long and about 25 meters wide,” continued Dr. Starnes. “And it was a complete accident that Aethan discovered it. He has the contrast turned all the way up on his computer monitor which revealed the petroglyph.” The immediate area around the petroglyph is closed to the public, however the rest of the lake remainsopen to visitors. Officials are asking that people stay away from the researchers and avoid making large wakes with their power boats. Source: https://www.ncscooper.com
Former NASA employee, James Oberg, who later turned into a space journalist and historian, is interested why a lot of people believe in UFOs. He was particularly interested in videos of abnormal lights flooding the internet, claiming the lights were from extra-terrestrial origins. He spent decades studying them. Being an employee of the top space agency of the United States has its perks and sometimes, it can give a person access to the world's most controversial secret. Just like this ex-NASA employee who recently told the truth about UFOs based on inside information from the time he was still affiliated with the agency. But it is not what conspiracy theorists would expect. Oberg worked with NASA in the 90s and later on picked up a hobby, which is explaining every UFO sighting there is. He usually appears on UFO sighting websites commenting that what was in the videos weren't really UFOs but "space dandruff." Space dandruff can be caused by blasts just like the 1996 NASA STS-75 incident. A tether attached to a satellite broke causing a cloud of ice crystals to float around. Many who witnessed the lights from the sky initially took it as UFOs. That is one UFO sighting explained. Oberg spent too much time analyzing data from UFO sightings and cross-referencing them to mission logs to try and explain every video sighting he chanced upon. Because of his perseverance and after decades of doing this, he finally came up with a finding that the human senses are trained to identify slow-moving objects and a specific or pre-calculated speed and conditions and when presented with a different set of setting, confusions follow. "Our sensory system is functioning absolutely perfectly for Earth conditions," says James Oberg, former NASA employee in an interview with Atlas Obscura. "But we're still a local civilization. Moving beyond our neighborhood has been visually confusing," Oberg added. He also doesn't believe that the agency is hiding the truth about UFOs to believers and conspiracy theorists. According to Oberg, it is just a result of watching too much sci-fi movies. "I've had enough experience with real spaceflight to realise that what's being seen in many videos is nothing beyond the 'norm' from fully mundane phenomena occurring in unearthly settings," said Oberg in a statement. But believers shouldn't hate on Oberg, unlike other debunkers, he is more concerned about possibly explaining UFO sightings and why people react to it the way they do, not just in disproving every UFO sighting captured on video. The tipster, Jeremy—who asked us not to publish his last name—tells that yesterday morning, as he was driving on Brock Bridge Road near Suburban Airport, he spotted what he thinks is a sasquatch. "I saw what I thought was a bear and so I pulled over to take some pictures," he says. But when Jeremy got a closer look, he noticed the animal, which he estimates was about six or seven feet tall, was walking on two legs. "Bears usually walk on all four feet. I know they can walk on two, but he was wading through water in two feet, which I thought was strange," he says. For nearly ten minutes Jeremy watched and snapped pictures of the beast. At no point did it walk on four legs, which he thought was strange and led him to believe he was witnessing the mythical beast. Though it has never been proven that a sasquatch—sometimes known as "Bigfoot" or "Yeti"—does or ever has existed, sightings of the majestic hairy creature date back to the mid-1800s, and there's been more than 3,000 total alleged sightings. According to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, there have been a total of 35 alleged sightings in Maryland since 1970. Two of them have been—get this—in the Patuxent Research Refuge. The refuge, which the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service operates, was established in 1936 by President Franklin Roosevelt and is "the nation's only national wildlife refuge established to support wildlife research." Which means the easy explanation for all of this is that it's simply a big bear that likes walking on two legs instead of four. In fact, Jeremy's girlfriend, who was with him during the sighting, suggested as much. "I've driven by there hundreds of times and have never seen anything like it," Jeremy says. "I doubt I'll ever see something like this again." We've reached out to both the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization for comment and we'll update when we hear back.
More than a year ago, the NASA Astrobiology Program gave a $1.108 million grant to the Center for Theological Inquiry. And if that doesn’t make any sense to you, you’re not alone. The project is intended to refresh and expand scholarly and public dialogue on this subject, which is of growing interest due to the discovery of thousands of extrasolar planets and the ongoing search for potentially habitable environments in our solar system and beyond. With this $1.108 million grant, CTI will oversee a resident team of visiting scholars in theology, the humanities, and social sciences that will conduct aninterdisciplinary inquiry on the societal implications of astrobiology, the study of the origins, evolution, distribution, and future of life in the universe. This inquiry will extend over two academic years from 2015 to 2017… … Announcing the NASA grant, CTI’s director William Storrar said, “The aim of this inquiry is to foster theology’s dialogue with astrobiology on its societal implications, enriched by the contribution of scholars in the humanities and social sciences. We are grateful to the NASA Astrobiology Program for making this pioneering conversation possible.” To put that another way, NASA made a million-dollar donation to a religious group so that it could study how the discovery of extraterrestrial life would impact Christianity. Why is NASA funding any sort of dialogue about the intersection of science and religion? That’s what Jerry Coyne, who noticed the grant, wanted to know earlier this week. And that’s what the Freedom From Religion Foundation is now exploring: “The Establishment Clause of the First Amendment prohibits any ‘sponsorship, financial support, and active involvement of the sovereign in religious activity,'” FFRF Staff Attorney Andrew Seidel writes to NASA officials. “Specifically, the government may not fund religious projects, as various courts have ruled over the years.” Then there is the issue of use and misuse of scarce taxpayer dollars. The utilization of a significant amount of tax money to determine how theology — by definition a faith-based belief system — might respond to speculative future scientific discoveries is wasteful for two reasons. First, religion deals in matters of faith, not fact, and faith-based arguments inevitably boil down to arguments that cannot be settled by appeal to empirical evidence. Second, history shows that religion does one of two things when presented with scientific discovery: denial or incorporation of the fact as “evidence” or “proof.” There’s still a year left in the grant and FFRF is asking NASA to refrain from throwing any more money toward the project. FFRF also points out that the John Templeton Foundation, which is known for funding projects that promote an overlap between religion and science much to the ire of many high-profile atheists, is co-sponsoringthis project: If the Templeton Foundation wishes to fund religious research, it can use its $3 billion to do so… the U.S. government may not. FFRF has also filed a FOIA request to learn more about NASA’s grant. If all of this checks out, it would be a remarkable waste of money for an organization that’s already underfunded. It’s much harder to make that case that NASA needs a greater slice of our federal budget when it’s spending that money on something that wouldn’t advance our knowledge in any meaningful way. As of this writing, NASA hasn’t responded to FFRF’s letter. But we’ll follow up if and when they do. Source: http://www.patheos.com/ |
